Shelby Kurtzer is Senior Business Development Manager for Tangram’s western region. She works closely with our broker network on all of Tangram’s workers’ comp programs, as well as our fuel program. In her role, she helps onboard new broker partners, assists in developing and delivering sales proposals and works to ensure territory and program growth. Shelby has worked in the insurance industry, in both underwriting and business development, for 7.5 years. She greatly values the partnerships and relationships she has developed with her team and broker partners.
Shelby was born and raised in the East San Francisco Bay Area, which is where she resides with her husband, David, and German shepherd, Lucy. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College. In her free time, she enjoys going camping, boating and spending time with her family.
