Wes Osswald is Senior Vice President and Head of Global Distribution at Tangram Insurance Services, where he leads nationwide revenue strategy and distribution efforts across the company’s expanding portfolio of specialty insurance programs. In this role, Wes is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and market expansion while building and developing a high-performing sales organization aligned with Tangram’s long-term strategic vision. Through a combination of strategic leadership, hands-on coaching, and deep industry expertise, he has played a key role in strengthening Tangram’s national presence and accelerating program performance.
Prior to assuming his current role in 2026, Wes led Tangram’s fuel and propane division, where he was responsible for revenue generation, profitability, and client satisfaction within one of the company’s most specialized and technically complex verticals. His leadership helped position Tangram as a trusted partner in the energy insurance space.
With more than 25 years of insurance industry experience—including over 16 years dedicated specifically to the fuel and propane sector—Wes has earned a reputation for integrity, professionalism, innovative thinking, and unwavering advocacy for insureds operating in highly specialized industries. His ability to combine relationship-driven business development with operational leadership has made him a respected voice within the program insurance market.
As a member of Tangram’s executive leadership team, Wes plays an integral role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, growth initiatives, and continued expansion of its national program portfolio.
Wes began his insurance career as a broker in 1999 before transitioning into insurance program management in 2002 with one of the nation’s largest brokerage firms. Prior to joining Tangram in 2018, he spent nearly a decade in a leadership role with the country’s largest MGA focused exclusively on the energy sector. There, he oversaw day-to-day sales operations for the Northeast Region, managing more than $65 million in premium volume and leading a 16-member regional team.
Wes holds a bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University and a master’s degree from Clemson University. A proud United States Army veteran, he has received multiple commendations for meritorious service and achievement. He resides in New Hampshire with his wife and two children.
