Heidi joins Tangram after 20+ years of progressive experience in the industry. She started her career at Great American Insurance where she started as an underwriter and later held various positions within the organization, including her role as a senior business developer. In 2011, Heidi accepted a position with Norman Spencer, an MGA and wholesale brokerage. She managed underwriting programs, product development and operation as well as oversight of the offshore team. Through an acquisition in 2019, her role was elevated to lead operations for Constellation Affiliate Partners (CAP). Through another acquisition in 2021 – Heidi was asked to direct operations for Legacy CRC programs and CAP programs at Starwind Specialty. Heidi attended the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business and holds a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Heidi was chosen to be part of a Women’s Executive Leadership program at Cornell University in 2022. She has also participated in several Mentorship Programs. She believes developing the next generation of Insurance Professionals is critical to our industry’s success. She is excited to be joining the Tangram Women of Influence and is looking forward to contributing to the group.
In her free time, Heidi enjoys spending time her two kids & husband. She lives in Cincinnati, OH and loves cheering on local sports – especially the UC Bearcats and the Bengals. Her son Carson is a high school rower and her family spends time traveling to regattas throughout the country. Heidi is a proud Miami Oxford mom – her daughter Audrey is in the nursing program. She also loves to get her steps in – she lives a mile from the Cincinnati Zoo and stops by to see Fiona (a world-famous hippo) often. Heidi also makes a point to visit zoos in other cities and in 2022, her family got to experience four new zoos. She participates in several local races – Thanksgiving Day Race, Bockfest 5K, Hudepohl 14K and a one mile run to start the Flying Pig Marathon weekend. When she isn’t getting steps in – she is spending time with friends, family, neighbors and her third baby – Charlie (wheaten terrier).
